My doctoral dissertation has been shortlisted in the 11th Biennial Competition for Doctoral Dissertations in Architecture arquia/tesis 2017, together with other 25 theses among a total of 176 submitted. My PhD on housing design methods, titled Normalizing Utopia. A Project of Systematization of Regulations on Social Housing and supervised by Juan Herreros, was defended in 2014 at the School of Architecture in Madrid (ETSAM), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), in front of a doctoral committee consisting of Xavier Monteys (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), Federico Soriano (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), José Morales (Universidad de Sevilla), Mª Auxiliadora Gálvez (Universidad CEU San Pablo Madrid) and Lluís Ortega (University of Illinois at Chicago).
