It is now ten years since I took part in the first edition (2006) of the recommendable Master of Advanced Studies in Collective Housing MCH at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where I had the double opportunity to meet and work closely with many of the architects -students and professors- with whom I kept on working in the subsequent years, as well as to flourish the ideas that later became my doctoral thesis on collective housing. MCH is now associated with ETH Zurich, offering a joint program that brings together some of the best experts in the topic.

The Master of Architecture in Collective Housing, MCH, is a postgraduate full-time international professional program of advanced architecture design in cities and housing presented by Universidad Politécnica of Madrid (UPM) and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). After eight editions it is rated as one of the best architecture master’s programs by architects and experts. Next edition will start in January 2017, application period is already open. The MAS is the first UPM-ETH official postgraduate program. It takes place mainly in Madrid. MAS UPM / ETH CH has always committed to the highest level of excellence combining teachers of international prestige and a thorough participant selection process in order to make the best out of this course.
