The book Arquitectura de la soledad, co-edited with Rosana Rubio and published by Ediciones Asimétricas, has been awarded at the 17th Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BEAU) in the category Dissemination and Publications. The Biennial is organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda in collaboration with the Higher Council of Professional Associations of Architects in Spain (CSCAE) and Fundación Arquia.
With the title ‘Common Flows’, the 17th BEAU focuses on architecture as an engine of social transformation, exploring the flows of materials, people, energy, data and the environment. 55 projects were awarded in three categories (20 architecture and landscape works, 15 publications and dissemination projects and 20 Master’s Theses). The award ceremony was held at La Térmica Cultural in Ponferrada (León) on 11th December. The awarded, nominated and shortlisted projects can be seen here.
